Zartosht Ahmadi Ragheb, a civil activist, was tried by the Tehran Revolutionary Court on 11 June 2023 during the objection stage. On 29 November 2023, while arranging a power of attorney, he discovered that he had been sentenced to three years and nine months of imprisonment on charges of assembly and collusion with the intent to commit crimes against national security and propaganda activities against the regime. This sentence had not been officially communicated to him, and he is being held in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
On 30 September 2023, Ahmadi Ragheb released an audio file in which he referred to his physical condition and deprivation of the right to medical treatment. He also mentioned the lack of privacy for prisoners and unsuitable detention conditions.
The civil activist was transferred from Evin Prison to Ghezel Hesar Prison on 3 September 2023, along with 14 other political prisoners. He had been arrested by the Revolutionary Guards intelligence agents on 7 March 2023 and transferred to Greater Tehran Prison. On 10 April 2023, he was moved to Evin Prison.
Previously, on 6 February 2022, Ahmadi Ragheb had been sentenced to one year of imprisonment on charges of propaganda activities against the regime. He was arrested on 21 February 2022 and transferred to Evin Prison, and later to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj. He was conditionally released on 11 February 2023.
Zartosht Ahmadi Ragheb has frequently faced fabricated charges, summons, arrests, and interrogations due to his civil activities.
زرتشت احمدی راغب، فعال مدنی، در تاریخ ۲۱ خرداد ۱۴۰۲ در مرحله واخواهی توسط دادگاه انقلاب تهران محاکمه شد. او در تاریخ ۸ آذر ۱۴۰۲، هنگام تنظیم وکالتنامه، متوجه شد که به اتهامات اجتماع و تبانی به قصد ارتکاب جرم علیه امنیت کشور و فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام به ۳ سال و ۹ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده است. این حکم به صورت رسمی به او ابلاغ نشده بود و او در زندان قزلحصار کرج نگهداری می شود.
در تاریخ ۸ مهر ۱۴۰۲، احمدی راغب فایل صوتی ای را منتشر کرد که در آن به وضعیت جسمانی خود و محرومیت از حق درمان اشاره کرده بود. او همچنین به عدم رعایت حریم خصوصی زندانیان و شرایط نامناسب نگهداری اشاره کرده بود.
این فعال مدنی در تاریخ ۱۲ شهریور ۱۴۰۲ به همراه ۱۴ زندانی سیاسی دیگر از زندان اوین به زندان قزلحصار منتقل شد. او در تاریخ ۱۶ اسفند ۱۴۰۱ توسط ماموران اطلاعات سپاه بازداشت و به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شده بود. در تاریخ ۲۱ فروردین ۱۴۰۲ به زندان اوین منتقل شد.
احمدی راغب پیشتر نیز در تاریخ ۱۷ بهمن ۱۴۰۰ به اتهام فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام به یک سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود. او در تاریخ ۲ اسفند ۱۴۰۰ بازداشت و به زندان اوین منتقل شد و سپس به زندان رجائی شهر کرج منتقل گردید. در تاریخ ۲۲ بهمن ۱۴۰۱ به طور مشروط آزاد شده بود.
زرتشت احمدی راغب به دلیل فعالیت های مدنی خود بارها با پرونده سازی، احضار، بازداشت و بازجویی مواجه شده است.
