Behnam Rezaei Mal Amir, the editor-in-chief of the news outlet "Karnameh Jonoob" and a journalist and artist from Izeh and Khuzestan Province, has been held in Ahvaz prison for over four months.

It is also reported that the judge in Izeh has not taken necessary actions to expedite the judicial process, resulting in ongoing uncertainty for the journalist.
