Nearly four months after the shooting of Tara Rasoulzadeh in the forehead, her body has not been returned to the family.
The lifeless body of Tara Rasoulzadeh, a Kurdish medical student from Piranshahr, was found during the protests in Tehran in December. Reports indicate that she was shot directly and died as a result. After a twenty-day search, her father was able to identify her body. However, the body has not yet been returned to the family. It has been reported that a fee was requested for the release of the body, and the family has faced pressure. The family has refused this request, and the body remains with the authorities.
