Roghayeh Akbari Monfared, born in 1958 in Tehran, was executed at the age of 30 during the mass execution of political prisoners in 1988. She was a young mother with a young daughter and had been sentenced to 10 years in prison for supporting the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. Four members of the Akbari Monfared family, including three brothers and a sister, were executed in 1981, 1985, and 1988. Roghayeh and her brother Alireza were executed in 1988.

رقیه اکبری منفرد مادر جوانی بود که یک دختر خردسال داشت و به دلیل هواداری از سازمان مجاهدین خلق ایران به ۱۰ سال زندان محکوم شده بود.
چهار تن از اعضای خانواده اکبری منفرد سه برادر و یک خواهر طی سالهای ۱۳۶۰ و ۱۳۶۴ و ۱۳۶۷ اعدام شده اند. او و برادرش علیرضا در سال ۱۳۶۷ اعدام شدند.
